The Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church by SS. Benedict XVI collects the essential contents of faith cristiano-cattolica. It was written in the form of a dialogue, question and answer, in order to promote clarity. Far from replacing the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which remains the basis of catechesis Church, the Compendium is a summary refers to it and to deepen the topics covered. It is divided into four parts:
1) The profession of faith;
2) The celebration of the Christian mystery;
3) the life of Christ;
4) The Lord's prayer: Our Father.
Inside the Compendium are images of the Christian tradition, which tell, through color and beauty, the milestones in the history of salvation.
Whoever wants to know the faith of the Church and its foundation, will find an indispensable tool in the Catechism and in the Compendium.
