In recent days 24/25 May 2006 a meeting was held in Venice between a delegation from the Church of Syracuse, led SE Mgr. G. Costanzo Archbishop of Syracuse, and the Church Venetian. During this meeting have laid the foundations about the possibility of a final return of the remains of Santa Lucia in Syracuse. A committee made up of representatives of both Churches should evaluate specific elements relevant to the final decision. Let us pray together that the Lord enlighten the minds of her ministers. We all hope in the final return to his home town patroness. Syracuse really needs the presence of the mortal body of his Holy Patroness, that the minds and hearts of its citizens open to the message that he wanted to give Lucia.
